Scope of processed data
We only process personal data obtained from you as part of the application process. Relevant personal data may include:
• Address data (name and address)
• Contact details (phone number and email address)
• Special personal data (health data such as illnesses and disabilities)
• Application data (references, CV)
• Data used for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (implementation of the application
process) in accordance with Article 6, section 1b) of the EU GDPR
• Data used on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6, section 1a) of the EU GDPR,
as well as data used to comply with the statutory requirements for concluding an employment
relationship in accordance with Article 26, section 2 of the German Federal Data Protection Act.
Data recipients
Within DD, your data will only be received by individuals who require your data to assess your application. Data processing companies which we appoint to carry out work on our behalf as part of the application process may also acquire data for the aforementioned purposes. As part of the application process it may be necessary to forward your application data to another company.
Transfer of data to third countries or international organisations
Data obtained during the application process shall be transmitted to Delica AG, Hafenstr. 120, CH-4127 Birsfelden in compliance with applicable data protection regulations; where data is transferred to Switzerland, we will refer to the adequacy decision of the EU Commission and Article 49, Section 1c) of the EU GDPR. We will inform you of further details when required by law.
Data storage duration
Where necessary, personal data will be processed and stored for the duration of the application process. Personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of its collection has been fulfilled, and shall not be stored for longer than 6 months.
Data protection rights of applicant
In accordance with statutory regulations, each affected person has the right to be informed about the processing of his/her personal data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. With regard to the right to be informed and the right of erasure, the restrictions specified in Articles 34 and 35 of the German Federal Data Protection Act shall apply. The applicant shall also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 of EU GDPR and Article 19 of the German Federal Data Protection Act).
Right of revocation
You have the right to revoke consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. If you wish to revoke your consent, please send an email to hr.de@delica.com.
Provision of data
During the application process you only need to provide the personal data that is required for your application. You are under no obligation to provide this data to us. However, without this data we will generally not be able to proceed with the application process.
